Don't add new columns on adding references, still having it flag as an issue if there's no relationship set is good.

You can switch off FK autogenerating feature. Please see how to do it on the picture below:

Perfect! I was looking for it under Model Properties so maybe it can be moved/shown there as well as a suggestion.
