Can't log in if password contains symbols

To Reproduce:

Set password to something like "AcTi/oyQvmcGeD.nzabG8CB;9"


Expected:

Can log in


Result:

Can't log in

I have tried reproduce this (on all sites: sign up, change password & password reminder) with given password but without success (I still can log in).
