Bottom Panel Properties

It would be good to put the properties panel at the bottom

I don't see what we would get by putting the panel at the bottom. Can you tell why you'd want to put it there?

We analyzed this from UX perspective and decided not to do this. Current displays have a huge width but height is usually small, especially in laptops. There is no space for the properties panel at the bottom.
