Object level locking for collaboration

Is there plan to let more than one person work on a model at the same time via object level locking instead of model locking?

Well, we've already been thinking about this. We have it on our roadmap, but I cannot declare any dates when it will be done. I'm quite sure it won't happen within nearest few months. 6 to 12 months seem to be much more realistic.
