Thank you for asking this question. In Vertabeblo this behavior was done intentionally (by design). In Vertabelo logical model we combine two different design approaches: conceptual and logical modelling. It is users decision what style is closer to their design needs. We wouldn't like to introduce three different layer of design/diagramming known from such tools like the Sybase Power Designer. It would be too complicated for the most of our users. However we plan to introduce new feature that allow to generate physical model from logical model, where foreign keys will be automatically generated and added to physical design.

Thank you for asking about this topic. Desktop version of Vertabelo is on our long term road map. Now we focus on some new features for web based version. The first possible time slot for desktop is Q1 2020.

On physical data model there is no such notation to indicate generalization relationship, so it is not possible. However we are working now on introducing logical data model to Vertabelo, which will have such feature. Logical data model represents a higer lever of abstraction and it is especially dedicated to work with the business. This type of model should be available within three months.

The only way to show that two tables are in "generalization relationship" on physical data model is to use short text notes on diagram.

At this moment we don't plan such pre-paid type of payment. We recommend to consider yearly plan that offers meaningful discount.
