Hi,

This is by design. We've decided do not show them on the diagram. Unique/alternative keys can be composed using multiple fields, so display them on the diagram may take space and sometimes makes the diagram messy. This a quite old assumption so maybe we should back to the drawing board and rethink it.

Hi,

There is feature that allows you to copy&paste between database models. Please follow these steps:

1. Create a new model and import SQL file.

2. Select tables, and press "Copy" button (or press Control-C)

3. Click on the model name (It's on the left side of the toolbar)

4. Pick "Switch to model" option

5. Select target model

6. Press "Control-V" or "Paste" button

7. Done

Copy&paste between models works in the same browser tab only. That's why switching between models should be performed this way.

If you interested in other keyboard shortcuts press "Control-I".

Hi,

Yes you can. We call them "migration scripts".

Here are steps to generate migration script:

1. Sign in

2. Right click on the database model and pick "Model details" option (the last one)

3.On "details" screen click "Generate migration SQL" link (on the right site panel)

4. You'll see the migration tool. Here you can pick a source model and target model or version.

5. Click "Generate"

6. You'll get migration script + warnings.

Hi,

Please try again. We've got an infrastructure issue. It is fixed now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Kevin,

I've tried to reproduce it and it works for me. Please make sure you've picked the MS SQL database.

I've uploaded this file sample.sql it contains only one create table statement.

And got diagram with this table only:

Here is an XML file sample.xml

Hope it helps. If you would like to upload entire file please open a private ticket.

Hi,

Click on the reference on the diagram. You'll see reference details on the right panel. There will be "Cadinality" select and "Mandatory" to play with.

Hi,

You may toggle them using toolbar buttons. See screnshot.

Hi Vish,

Could you tell us more about what is not working for you? I've imported script generated by vertabelo without any problems.
