captcha does not display characters for on-premises installation
We have on on-premis installation.
The captcha on the password reset does not display characters.

Hi,
I've reproduced this bug. Captcha wouldn't work on Java 1.7 or 1.8. Please, check what Java version you are using:
$JAVA_HOME/bin/java -version
Java 1.6 can be downloaded from here:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html
