How to set postgresql double precision?
Hi Guys,
New to using vertabelo, how do I set postgresql column to double precision? I'm migrating old parts of a mysql database that is using double columns.

Better drag support when relation is already selected
I have a situation where I want to tidy and layout a big database diagram. In the picture above, I selected a reference. Now I want to drag it to the left. But every time I try to drag it it gets unselected, and:
- either nothing gets selected,
- or some of the neighboring references gets selected.
I would suggest improving the selection process so that when I click mouse button and hold, it does not trigger selection of references. Instead, selection should happen at mouse up event. This way I could easily drag the selected reference even if it is in a very 'crowded' place.
Creating a model from 1) ssh-tunnelled connection to postgres server; 2) a simple postgres dump file
We don't plan to create model directly from db connection.
Creating model from SQL scripts is already possible.
Column Templates
As we has introduced copy/paste of group of columns and there are no more upvotes we decided to not consider this functionality. I close the ticket.
Export functionality to Visio, draw.io, Lucidchart or Gliffy would be highly appreciated
Can you please add some functionality so that the model can be imported to graphical tools such as draw.io or Visio? The way I see it, this creates a wonderful opportunity to make use of data models in more enterprise contexts, while Vertabelo still remains the better modeling tool for data models.
We don't plan to add such functionality. As we said above you can use export image (bitmap or vector) feature instead.

This feature has been already introduced. You can find it in the modeler main menu as on the following screenshot.
As we have abandoned the Vertabelo Talks application there is no other place for such functionality. So I close the ticket.
Super type and sub type representation
Hi, I run Enterprise Data Warehouse for Indeed. We subscribed to your tool for its collaboration and model versioning capabilities. Because we use our data models to reach mutual understanding of data with the business, we would benefit greatly from being able to represent super type and sub type relationships in our Vertabelo diagrams; the business understands that an "advertiser" is a sub type of "customer", but has a harder time understanding why we might put those two things in separate tables. Can this functionality be added?
Generalization relationship has been already added to the logical database model. We forgot to mark this issue as solved.
How to convert a logical model to a physical model?
I have created a simple logical star schema in a diagram. How do I convert it into the corresponding initial physical model ?

Logical to physical model generation functionality is already available on the production. You can use the right mouse button menu on the logical model to see this option. Please see the following example:
