Hello,

You can use our reverse engineering tool to connect to a database and extract a database model:

https://vertabelo.com/blog/reverse-engineering-with-vertabelo/

Alternatively if you have a DDL script for your database you try to import it directly:

https://vertabelo.com/blog/how-to-import-ddl-script-tip/

Hope this helps,

Jarosław

Hello,

You are on the trial company account that has already expired. I have extended it by another 7 days. You'll be able to log in, download your documents and close this trial account. Then please follow the instruction to create a new academic account:

Hello Robby,

Thank you for reporting this. I confirm that there is a bug in these area. Add table shortcut option should be available also in academic account plan. We have added this issue to our development backlog.

Hello,

This type is not on list in UI type control by design as this not used so often. However it shouldn't give validation errors as you type this manually. Please see sample design on the picture below, where UUID type is in sample table without any validation errors.

Could you please

provide the sample of your model that doesn't work that way.

Jarosław

The new “take control” mechanism has been on the production system since yesterday. Since that you should not experience such behaviour as you described. In normal conditions it should take no more than 10-15 seconds. In case when someone who edits models is out of network or freezes the computer it is maximum 2 minutes to take control by someone else.

Hello Janani,

Vertabelo Modeler is OS agnostic. It requires only a web browser. We recommend Google Chrome as it is the best option from performance point of view So you can use it on Windows, Mac, Linux etc.
